Large Number of Cuts
Good Video-

I think this is a good example to show large number of cuts because from the start there are many cuts until the very end of the video. The reason why it has many cuts is to match the tempo and beat of the song as the song is fast and up beat. The purpose of the large amount of cuts is to keep the audience watching and entertained throughout, as with less cuts, you're focusing on a few cuts which is not as enjoyable to watch as with one with many cuts. This represents the artist and tells us what kind of personality they have as with many cuts, they are active, wild and energetic. 


Bad Video-

I think this is a bad video of amount of cuts because there are no cuts in the video except the video pans. The video was a bit boring as there was not one cut and it was the same location, scene and person throughout the video. The impact this has on the audience is it could be boring for them as there is no action but slow motion walking. What this tells us about the artist is they sing slow songs and possibly not as creative.


Special Effects
Good Video

I think this is a good video to show special effects because from the beginning and till the end of the video, there are a variety of special effects such as the opening the Mini, transforms into the artist name. Also little particles waving around the screen throughout the video. This is a perfect example of special effects as the video has different types of special effects. What this says about the artist is they are creative, likes the use of technology and modern. The impact this has on the audience is it is entertaining for them to watch and keeps the audience watching.


Bad Video-

I think this is a bad video of special effects because the snake does not look realistic and is more sharper (more detailed and stands out) than the women. As this film was made recently, it is poor for the technology used today. What this tells us about the people who created this is they don't have the correct equipment for special effects and they possibly don't know how to use it. The impact this has on the audience is they don't think it looks realistic and looks fake, disappointed that the quality is bad.


Cutting to the Beat
Good Video-

I think this is a good video to show cutting to the beat because the beat has a tempo, and the shot changes in a pattern changing on a certain beat, creating a consistent flow of cuts to the beat. The impact this has on the audience is they can view and watch the video better, if the cuts did not match the beat, the video would look out of sync from the video and look confusing. What this tells us about the artist is they are professional and pay attention to detail as cutting to the beat almost tells a story and is clearer.

Varied Camera Language
Good Video-

I think this is a good video to show variable camera language because there are a variety of shots and it changes to a different shot each time. What I think is good about the video is by changing the shot to a different one makes you want to watch it as there's different things going on and it is interesting to watch. What impact this has on the audience is it keeps them interested and entertained by mixing up the shots. What this says about the artist is that they are creative and they have fast paced up beat songs.

Bad Video-

I think this is a bad example for varied camera language because throughout the video, the camera is positioned in front of him most of the time. What effect this has on the audience is it might make them bored from the types of shots. What this says about the artist is that he likes to show his face to show his emotions and also show his body language.


Green Screen
Good Video-

I think this is a good video of green screen because the person in the green screen stands out, they don't mix in or lose colour in the green screen and they are clearly visual. Although I don't think the images look to realistic but as this video was done sometime ago  it is still good. What this says about the artist is they are very creative using green screen as they are filming an impossible location while other things are going on around him. The impact this has on the audience is it is something new and different, unexpect-able and entertaining as it has special effects and based in a fantasy land.

Bad Video

I think this is a bad video of green screen because the characters in the costumes are missing half of their body, because they are wearing green and green will turn invisible on a green screen. What this tells us about the person using green screen is that they are not very professional and do not know how to correctly use a green screen. What affect this has on the audience is, it is not entertaining as the video is not at a good standard and ruins the effect of green screen.


Lip-Syncing-
Good video

I think this is a good video of Lip-Syncing because the artists voice is heard but he is not shown anywhere in the video singing, instead of him there are people miming the lyrics. What I think is unique about this video is the amount of people they have used and also using celebrity's such as Chuck Liddell, Nelly Furtardo and Paul Teutul. What is good about the video is the lip-sync is well timed. What this says about the artist is they could be shy but they make creative and a interesting video. The impact this has on the audience is it is entertaining as it stars celebrity's and they could relate to this as they can mime or sing along to it.


Bad Video

I think this is a bad video to show lip-syncing because the lip sync is out of sync. The music is playing in the background and the boy is clearly miming the words late. The person on the right 50 Cent is miming the word correctly. What this says about the person is they are not very good at miming words or possibly don't know the lyrics well. The effect it has on the audience it makes them think the video is delayed or it's not well put together.
