Good Corporate Video


What I think makes a good corporate video is if the video is persuasive, shows what the buisness/oragnisation is about, there location, is entertaining, has a clear understanding and purpose, looks professional, may be has good background music, a voice over and possibly interviews.

The corporate Video I have found which I think is a good corporate video is Barclays  Corporate recruitment video.The reason why I think it is a good corporate video is it is short and sweet, clear and understandable and is persuading and entertaining.

• Out of the other corporate videos i viewed, Barclays Corporate video clearly stood out for me as it was interesting from the very start till the very end. I found it interesting as throughout the video, people were disappearing and thuis became a mystery. Towards the end it became clear that Barclays are recruiting more people and this possibly is persuading to people as they mention in the video that they have some of the worlds top graduates and people with inovated minds that the acodemic and finacial world that has to offer. Thier facts and information is persuading to the audience.
• Another reason why it is a good corporate video is it looks professional as they have used many locations and special effects, for instants people falling in to the ground like a secret path or two anonymous men crashing through a ceiling and taking two victims with them. The footage and voice over are also clear.

What makes a bad corporate video is if it is boring, not informative and little information about the company. The corporate video I found which I think is a bad corporate video is 'Miniatur Wunderland'. I find this mainly a bad corporate video as the voice over is boring. The voice over is dull and does not sound spontaneous about the company. The video is about the largest model railway in Germany, Hamburg. Another reason why I found this a bad corporate video is there was nothing different throughout the video, it was just clips of models and detailed trains. I did not find this video appealing but what I found interesting was how much work had gone in to this project and the facts they tell us such as the size and how many visitors they have had. Whats good about it is that it has useful and interesting facts but was not interesting and was to long.
